Dear Coaches:
Welcome to the Pre-Summer 2010 High School Edition of the California Cage Report. This issue features evaluations of the senior prospects (Class of 2011) from the spring 2010 evaluation period, as well as the 2009-2010 high school season. We have also included some player evaluations for the class of 2012 and 2013. We have had the opportunity to watch players over a longer period of time than college coaches and to see many of the players play with their high school teams. Our approach is to focus primarily on Division I prospects, with an emphasis on the mid to high major prospects. The report covers the thirteen western states including Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
We have profiled the best 2011 and 2012 players at each position. These are the top prospects rated at the highest level. These players are listed in the order we have them ranked as of now. Home phone numbers and addresses have been provided as accurately as possible using the information available to us.
For the 2013 list, players are listed alphabetically. Players with high major potential are listed with an asterisk.
Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments regarding the report. Best of luck in your recruiting.
Sincerely,
Dana and David Pump

A true point guard… not a great athlete and lacks lateral quickness, but makes up for it with his off the chart basketball IQ and relentless ability to hustle… has great court vision and is always looking to set up his teammates for an easy bucket… would struggle defensively to stay in front of high major PG’s, but would be a great asset to any team due to his unselfishness and coachability. Mid to High Major prospect.
